The financial support that is given to this project.

Kanyashree-1 (K1): Reading in 8th or above class in a government recognized regular educational institution and 13 to 18 years

Unmarried girls within the age limit are given financial assistance at the rate of Rs.1000 per annum.

Kanyashree-2 (K2): At the time of enrollment and application in the above institution, more than 18 years but under 19 years of age.

A one-time financial grant of Rs. 25,000 is given to unmarried girls.

Qualifications: Any girl, that

(1) Unmarried

(2) Whose age is between 13 to 19 years

(3) Resident of West Bengal

(4) Literacy in any government recognized institution

(5) Have a bank account in your own name.

All the documents that need to be submitted.

(1) Photocopy of voter card of parents / legal guardians

(2) Photocopy of birth certificate

(3) Declaration of marital status of the applicant

(4) Photocopy of bank passbook with useful information

(5) Colorful passport size photo on white background

(6) If the applicant is above 13 years of age but has literacy below 8th class and 40% or more

Photocopy of the certificate of disability obtained from the appropriate authority if there is more obstruction.

Communication- In all cases specific form is available in one’s own educational institution (school / college). If the application is sanctioned, the money will be credited directly to the consumer’s bank account. For all the information visit Kanyashree website www.wbkanyashree.gov.in
